Herd Health - We offer complete Beef and Dairy Production Services including:
      
               Nutrition-ration formulation
               Ultrasound evaluation
               Artificial Insemenation
               Embryo transfer
               Breeding Soundness Exams
               24 hour Emergency Services

And, of course, we can process your calves to prepare them for market or process your entire herd to keep them safe from disease.   We can also evaluate your herd and provide marketing advice.  Whatever your needs, Fair Grove Veterinary Service can meet them.  

Small Ruminants - We offer complete care for your Goat or Sheep herd; all of the services listed for Cattle are available for Small Ruminants, as well.

Camelids ( Llamas and Alpacas)  - We see the pet camelids, as well as fiber producing animals and brood stock.

Wellness exams - Includes routine hoof care, annual vaccinations for Rabies, Clostridium C & D (over-eating disease), and Tetanus;  worming, and boosters for Vitamin E and Selenium to prevent white muscle disease;  and vaccination for rhinopneumonitis for Camelids housed with Equines. We evaluate body scores annually, as obesity is such a problem in these animals.

Sickness exams - Emergency coverage includes administration of intravenous fluids, treatment for meningeal worm, treatment for choke, heat stroke, overeating disease, polioencephalomalacia, listeriosis, and "failure to thrive" syndrome.

Surgery - Routine surgical castrations, fighting teeth trimming, growth removal, and microchip insertion.
